Book Review : God is a Gamer

As Soon as I got the book yesterday I had the Itch to read the book because of the interesting title and also because of the authors previous works , I read the book at once sipping coffee and nothing else. The book is very fast paced ,so you cant get your eyes off because you want to end the thrill and want to know what is happening and how.The banking world is shown in its full dark side together with technical aspects of the modern world. The book is a sure shot read.

God is a Gamer is a corporate banking based thriller which moves from Washington’s Congress to Delhi’s finance ministry, the beaches of Goa to the corporate boardrooms of Mumbai. This is a thriller set in a money minded world where money means nothing, martyrs are villains, predators are prey, assassination is taught by the ancient Greeks, and nothing is as it seems. This is a fast paced story with multiple important characters and multiple theories running together. Its captivating and engrossing. This is just the start,

The way Ravi Subramanian has written is pretty engaging and captivating. Only glitch is in the starting where you have no idea exactly what is being talked about as the story fluctuates between places and people really fast. The book is fast paced and has multiple stories running together

Spread across few states in each of two countries, namely India and the US, this story entangles life of a genius gamer cum entrepreneur, Varun Rao, his banker and entrepreneur father, Aditya Rao, a flamboyant female, Tanya, an ambitious banker, Malavika, her talented subordinate, Swami, a finance minister, and few others in India with those of a few politicians, illegal migrants, and the FBI officials in the US.Ofcource the Indian Police and the CBI.

Lows:
There is surely an overdose of FBI and CBI and many jargons which some people might not understand,

Highs:
It is a good thriller for people interested in hi-tech stuff.

Story-line:
Fast , Interesting, Thriller , Intriguing, Unique,Well researched and well written. There are murders, presumed suicides, supposedly corrupt ministers, ambitious upper rung institutional folks in government, The Mumbai Police and several other characters which you might even forget.

About the Author:

Ravi Subramanian is a promising and very talented Indian author. A banker by profession, Subramanian has written popular thrillers about banking , bankers and the world which surrounds them along with two awards winning titles “The incredible banker” and “The bankster”.Some Other books by Ravi Subramanian are as below :

Interview with Sonal of Indian Girl American World

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself ,your blog(s)/website(s),and your aspirations and your hobbies!!
As the Blog name suggests I am an Indian girl in the Amercian world! After living in India for 25 years I moved to the states post my marriage. Newly married and a new country was quite a bit of a change to deal with. With time everything has fallen in place. In the middle of all my experiences of living here I found an urging need to pen them down which led to the birth of my blog. Writing started as a hobby but today it’s become a passion. Apart from that I enjoy cooking, eating, anything to do with fashion and watching loads of TV.

2. How you first got involved in with blogging/writing, are you an imaginative person?
I started blogging in 2013 not really aware of how huge the blogosphere world could be. All I wanted to do was give words to my thoughts and store it on the web. Yes I am an imaginative person and I could build up castles in my dreams but when it comes to writing its always non-fictional for me.

3. What do you find most challenging about blogging/writing about your topic?
Writing in general is quite a challenge and requires a lot of work and re work. Once I have a topic in mind to blog about its exciting more than challenging but sometimes thoughts and new ideas fail to produce themselves in the brain and I hate getting stuck in that moment.

4. Tell me about some of the people you have met while working on your blog?
Working for a Fashion ecommerce website I already knew a bunch of people but interviewing them for my blog gave me a chance to know them even better. Getting to know other bloggers through their blogs though never met them in person is one great thing about blogging.

5. How would (someone) describe your blogging/writing style?
It’s straight forward and right from the heart. I only write about topics I am fully aware of and my personal choices do reflect in my writing.

6. What do you do when you are not working on your blog?
I would say even when I am not physically working on my blog, mentally its on my mind 24/7. But I enjoy spending time with family and friends, love to read, go for movies and explore good restaurants.

7 .Where do you see yourself blogging/writing wise in the next 6 months, and 5 years down the road?
6 months from now I just hope to have connected with more people through my blog and getting people to know me for my writing.  5 years down the lane seems a bit far but I definitely dream about having published my own book.

8. What networking do you do that you feel helps your blogging/writing business?
Networking I would say is the most difficult part. Thanks to my blog an introvert like me today is all out there on social media trying to get visibility for my work. A Facebook page, instagram, twitter, pinterest all eventually adds up towards the success of your blog.

9. How do you keep coming up with material/content for your blog? Many people struggle with coming up with different articles/posts and they only have one blog.
I know that can be quite a struggle sometimes, but for me I have always found more ideas but less time to blog about.

10. Whats your strategy with your blog in general?
No specific strategy and I don’t think I’ll ever have one. I want this blog to take its natural course and it’s exciting for me to see what the future holds.

11. Any specific tips you have for newbie bloggers who want to make it in the blogosphere?
Content is very important and also the name of your blog. Also, work on the aesthetic aspect of your blog because how you present does matter a lot. Keep blogging and don’t give up, eventually all the hard work will pay off.

12. What would you prioritize? Content? SEO? Traffic? Readers?
For me first comes Content, then the Readers, followed by Traffic and lastly the SEO.

13. Whats the best thing a blogger can give to his readers?
As a reader myself what I expect out of investing my time in reading a post is the feeling of having made some value addition. Therefore even when you write about yourself or for yourself, make the information valuable to others.

14. A lot of people are interested in blogging/writing for the money earning potential. What are some tips for people interesting in making money from blogging/writing? What are some realistic expectations in regards to what can be made?
If you can make money out of something you love to do nothing beats that feeling of contentment. I do know of people who’re successfully making money through their blogs but it’s a long process. If writing for money is the goal then one should definitely focus on writing things that appeal to a greater audience and focus on getting heavy traffic to the blog.

15. What motivates you most in life?
Looking at the success of other people motivates me a lot. Success comes with a lot of hard work and I have immense admiration for people who have managed to achieve what they want. It reminds me that I too can reach my goals.

16. What has been your strategy for creating visibility to yourself and your blog?
Again I would say strategy is something I never have on my mind. Each day is a brand new beginning for me and I feel energized and look forward to learning something new and making use of it to promote my blog.

17 What was the most challenging moment in your blog content development process and why?
Since I also blog about my personal experiences initially it was tough to narrate and put my feelings out there in open. With time, I have found an ideal way to talk about my personal views and represent them on my blog without any inhibitions.

18. Everyone has a favorite/least favorite post. Name yours and why?
That’s a tough choice to make. All the posts are very close to my heart but I definitely got to hear a lot of appreciation for my “morning cup of bliss”

19. Name some of the bloggers whom you look up to and why?
The blogosphere is filled with enormous talent and everyday I come across new bloggers with amazing writing skills. Having said that, I certainly have huge amount of respect for writers who have a poetic angle to their writing

20. What is the story behind the name of the blog?
Since I started blogging only after moving to America and about my life here, the name of my blog happens to be the story of my life!

21. Your connection with any Blogger Network like Indi blogger or Writeupcafe or any other and the experience?
I think websites like Indiblogger and blogadda are great platform to showcase your talent and connect with other bloggers. Personally these two remain my favorites as they have so much to offer.

22. Which genre do you feel gets the raw deal?
I think Fashion does! As a blogger if you’re writing about Fashion, latest trends or celebs endorsing fashion you have an edge because it does sell. I also think food is another important genre that grabs a lot of eyeballs.

23. Which one plug-in would you suggest all bloggers to have?
I would suggest having the maximum number of Social media icons out there on your blog.

24. Five adjectives that describe you.
Emotional, dreamer, empathetic, honest and hardworking.

25. What book would you say has made the biggest impact good or bad on you?
Undoubtedly the Secret by author Rhonda Byrne. It’s been a life changer for me and has become a bedside essential. That’s one book I can open and start reading anytime.

26. Do you get easily provoked by positive/negative comments??
Positive comments always make me happy and encourage me to keep going. I am okay dealing with negative comments because if it’s coming form a genuine source I would like to improvise.

27. Do you plan to write a book, as every bloggers dream it is?
Someday yes! Its actually work in progress and I hope to complete it soon.

28. Are you a judgmental person, do you prefer to take sides instead of standing neutral?
It depends and would vary according to each situation. If I feel strongly opinionated about something I will not hold back and put forward my point of view.

29. Your collaboration with other bloggers, are you much into social networking, tell us everything about it?
Yes social networking has become a parallel world for me because you can’t really survive without it. I love that it allows you to connect with unknown but like-minded people and share your work.

30. What genre attracts you the most and which genre you avoid?
Good writing will always attract me irrespective of the genre.

31. Your Views on Contests and increasing plagiarism?
I Think Contests are a great way to tap potential but plagiarism is a huge put off. As writers we have to display mutual respect towards each other’s work and stay away from the copy paste button.

32. Words for me and my blogs Desire v/s Destiny and Blogger Interviews and my Website www.MyMagicJobs.com
I think you are doing a commendable job running so many things together.  Desire v/s Destiny is a great blog and its good to know about all your services on the website without expecting anything in return. Blogger interviews is a such a suitable platform for writers to speak in depth about their work. Keep up the great work!

33. On winning the Award/s , Are they Really necessary.
They definitely keep you going but despite the awards the biggest reward is the appreciation that comes form your readers.

34. So whats Next in your list?
Keep writing, Keep exploring and to keep learning.

35.Words for your readers and why they should follow you?
Dear Reader, thanks for taking the time out to patiently read my interview and not sleeping through it J (hopefully you didn’t) Hope to see you on my blog!

Materialistic World , Dont we Love it

Why is the world so focused on physical assets- bank-balance, material-possessions, external beauty/body/cleavage...? What's the value of good thoughts, clear heart, inner beauty & values like honesty, discipline etc. today? What is important to you?

So the question is why,Well there is a straight answer that we have become selfish at least for our own good sake.Majority of working middle class is always after bank balance because they if don't have it , they wont be able to rise up the ladder of social security.Indian mentality is just to increase your bank balance so that your children can lead a happy life. But do all of us are like that , The answer is no , But the majority is surely running after bank balance.

Now about external beauty and cleavage , The answer is again simple Mean have been for ages loved ogling at physical assets.Men when they talk to women , they actually start talking with Boobs till the time they are forced to deviate from the mean path of their eyes till your boobs,So Just accept it ,Men do love doing it.But again there are limits and tricks on how they do it.Some do it cleverly , some do it randomly and some do it ease. But do all do it , No they don't its again just the majority.

Now the value of good thoughts , clear heart and inner beauty is there but its only limited to a small fraction of orthodox clad people who have lost interest in the materialistic world, or they have enough money to survive with it.Corruption is everywhere , some deal with it , Some don't but again the majority of people always go for the workaround , So honesty and discipline has actually lost its sheen , its the new age world where success is everything.

So is it right , no its not , they why do we all do it , because the other one is doing it.So Its just about how the society grows up and make itself a good society. The change can not come drastically over night. The change has to comer gradually , I can only hope , We do away with corruption , Rest all can come and grow with time.

Now Both Mrs and Mr Chopra agreed to the point that something was wrong with Charu. They started keeping at eye on Charu but the money still kept disappearing even when Charu was not at home. But all that went missing was only cash.Mrs Chopra used to take sleeping pills to sleep but she stopped taking them thinking that might be the cause of the depression she was now going into. She took Mr Chopra into confidence and went to one Guy who would perform the JHAD FUNK at her place,He came there did that JHAD FUNK and nothing happened for next ten days,

After ten days again the money disappeared,But they were not sure weather Charu was at home during that time or not , Both the parents asked charu is something was going wrong.Suddenly Mrs Chopra picked up charu;s mobile phone and saw some messages and notes shared between her friend which were in Urdu.Mrs Chopra again warned her doing that again.Mrs Chopra kept a close eye on Charu now.The next day Mrs Chopra took Charu's mobile phone again and found out there were an sms which read I am going right now but if your parents will disturb me I will come back again. She called on that number and It was a Sikh Guys Newly bought SIM which he started using from past couple of days.He refused to agree that he was sending SMS to a kid as he was happily married. He agreed for any Investigation.Mrs and Mr Chopra could not do anything , It was just an sms,

The next night Charu was beating up Sonal her younger sister and spoke in a voice which was a mix of at least 3 voices and saying to leave her alone.Mrs Chopra applied all her strength to calm her .down ,When Charu came to senses she could not remember anything but slept in her mothers Lap.

Both Mrs and Mr Chopra were  now tensed , They went to the Baba who was famous for catching spirits and getting rid from them in Delhi. He applied all his strength but could not come to any conclusion , he just said there is no influence of any bad spirit on any of them. But he said nothing will happen now as it might be a bad omen which he has cleared now.Ten days passed and nothing happened but the money started disappearing again after ten days,Even when Charu was at home it disappeared and even when she was not at home they disappeared. So The Chopra were sure that she was not doing it.
But they could not believe few things , The ATM incident , The VOICE incident and the Money disappearing even when no was at home.

Mrs Chopra had done everything possible now.The Baba's and the priests were of now help now.She had tried all of them. Now what they do is keep the money in the bank and all the ATMs are kept with Mr Chopra all the time , They don't keep cash at home.Even the smallest amount of money keeps on disappearing every now and then.

Here is the Short Part 1. Do you have a Ghost Experience? Do you wanna share it? Well now is the time :-)

Ghost

This is a True Story which happened in Delhi. The Names have been Changed.

Charu and Sonal , the two sweet sisters loved their younger brother who was still couple of years old.Charu was to give her 10th exams and Sonal were to appear in her 8th std exams.Mr Chopra was staying very happy in his house at the a Delhi Colony. He was a property dealer by profession and his wife Mrs Chopra was happy handling all the PGs they have given on rent at the ground floor. They were earning good and were very happy.

On Monday Mrs Chopra had a fight with her maid as about 15000Rs were missing from the drawer and no one else was at home when they disappeared except Mrs Choprs and the Maid , So the maid was blamed and was asked to return the money or face the police. She pleaded a lot but continued saying that she had not commited the crime. An FIR was filed and she was kept in Jail by the local police.

On Tuesday Mrs Chopra got some vegetables from the market and put the cash in the drawer and there was no one in the house except the little Aryan her 2 year old kid and herself. She locked the door and went to sleep. When she got up , the money was not in the drawer. She was confused as well as shocked.

On Wednesday when the 3 kids were sleeping and Mrs Chopra was cooking in the Kitchen , She Did something strange , she Put some cash in the small temple at home and tied them with the red thread. In the evening when she came to see the cash , The count of the notes had decreased but there were no signs of who did that.Neither the thread nor anything else were even touched.

She had to tell this to her husband. In the evening when she told all this to his husband , he laughed it off and said she might have forgotten the count of the notes every time because the kids were well behaved to do anything silly like that.Later that day while returning from home Mr Chopra Noticed that 10,000 rs have been reduced from his daily cash counter. He was shocked.

Mrs Chopra had to do something now to stop it.She starting discussing it with neighbors but they also laughed it off.She told everything to her mother she was also confused.Later in the evening on neighbor came and reminded her of the incident where she has asked one lady to vacate her PG forcibly as she was unable to pay the rent,So she might be responsible for some JADU TONA.Mr and Mrs Chopra were both not in favor of doing any JHAD FUNK so they slept that night.

Next morning was terrible as they both fought on some petty issue. The strange thing is that they never fought in all these years of happily married life. This thing was now increasing. They were regularly fighting now on small things. They even kept an eye on both the girls as they also came under scanner of their mom.

One Month passed by.The money and the cash notes were still disappearing from their home. One Day when she checked the Mobile phone of Charu she noticed something written in URDU which was strange for a Punjabi Girl. When Mrs Chopra inquired ,Charu Replied that this will save them from the Bad spirit which was in the house.Mrs Chopra was socked and bashed Charu and warned her of using any Urdu or Kalmas.

The thing which happened Next was strange.1500 Rs were taken from an ATM near their house. So they asked the Bank guys to show the CCTV footage so that they can finally catch the so called ghost. When they saw the footage they were shocked and frightened. It was charu in the CCTV footage who was taking out cash from the ATM But the strange point was the time , At the time when the money was withdrawn from the ATM at the same time Charu was at home with his mother.

This confirmed that the Chopra's were in trouble. Now Mr.Chopra also believed that some paranormal activity was going on.

Here is the Short Part 2. Do you have a Ghost Experience? Do you wanna share it? Well now is the time :-)

I hate Charity

On a personal note I would like to start by saying I hate charity, I shoo away beggars and babas. But As a Hindu Nationalist I should not do that Right. No Its not about Hinduism or any other religion , Because all religions talk about charity and stuff.Ok Now to the Topic , Are we really doing empowerment by doing charity.I always have the opinion that If I am helping someone who is trying to do something then I am right and If I am just donating something to someone who is not even trying then its purely wrong.

Top post on IndiBlogger.in, the community of Indian Bloggers
Yes I am of the view that the NGO's should rather be concentrating on skill development than just helping the poor which actually is not helping them but making them dependent on you.I am happy to donate clothes and food to the needy or probably I will make the poor kids have some food or Rides But I will never give them Cash.I dont know But I dont feel like giving them Cash. Now I have the same logic for NGO's , I have never donated any cash to any NGO.I have always made sure that I have donated for example books , pens , pencils or food directly to the needy who is or may be not associated with the NGOs.

I guess we all should think on the same lines, No I am not being judgmental or forcing my thoughts I am just being logical about ourselves giving more importance to skill development rather then just helping them on monitory grounds.I guess we all should make sure that weather we donate or not but If we do We should make sure that we are helping a cause or helping a skill get developed rather than Just donating and forgetting about it and think that our job is done.

I know some people are under privileged but that does not mean we should start giving them money , Instead we should help the needy go to school , We should help them develop their skills. We should help them gain knowledge so that they can grow in respective fields and the same applies to the NGO's.I am not saying every NGO is not concentrating on developing skills nor I am saying every situation is worth skill development. But If we all start thinking in a way which I have suggested we can build a better tomorrow.

This is again written for the Indispire topic : Charity or Empowerment? Are charitable donations to feed and house the poor really the way out of the mire of poverty or do NGOs need to focus more on skill development? Should we as donors be more proactive rather than merely donating money?

Deepika Padukone's Breasts and TOI

While Deepika Padukone was basking compliments for her latest movie Finding Fanny, soon she was raging with anger against India’s so called leading newspaper, The Times Of India.Reasons best known to TOI and In fact Everyone Now.This is the state of leading News Papers in India these days,This is more than pathetic. At one place these leading newspapers and portals talk about women empowerment and then at the same place they thrive to get their audience via cheap publicity and sleazy pictures. For Long noone was taking a stand against these so called Leading Newspapers but what Deepika has done is worth an applause.

This is how it all started.Deepika was fumed over the cheap shot which TOI took at her. This is what she tweeted.

“Supposedly India’s ‘LEADING’ newspaper and this is ‘NEWS’!!??”

“Yes! I am a Woman. I have breasts AND a cleavage! You got a problem!!??”

But then There came the reply , Obviously the second tweet did more damage than good which you can see why in the belwo picture , But Thankfully several Bollywood celebrities came forward in their support to Deepika Padukone including Karan Johar, Priyanka Chopra, Dia Mirza and Arjun Kapoor.Interestingly Ex Bf Sid mallaya came forward and tweeted
@sidmallya: And the @TimesofIndia response may just have to go down as one of the most idiotic, shambollic and stupid responses of all time. Bravo

Well We all can hope now that TOI learns from its mistakes and learns to respect women in true sense. My Point is that Yes she Might be over reacting just for the sake of film promotions just like SRK does when ever his movies is to release. But She has got some Valid point and We all should at-least support her in her stand against some Cheap "News".

Here is the flip side. This is what TOI has to say today :'We don’t go into a frenzy when cameras capture SRK’s and Hrithik’s 6-pack abs' Here :Everything in life is about perspective, and while you are governed by yours, you must keep an open mind about the flipside of the coin. As long as there is no violence or unlawful methods being adopted, everyone is entitled to their point of view. Even if it's top angle!

Interview with Ankit Author of On a Drive with Life

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself ,your blog(s)/website(s),and your aspirations and your hobbies!!
I was born in Patna, Bihar, the first son of Anil Sinha and Sudha Sinha. I spent my childhood in Patna where I completed my school from St. Karen’s Secondary School and Gyan Niketan. I went on to complete my B.Tech in Information Technology from Amity University, Noida in 2012. Of the few interesting hobbies I have and beyond all the weird stuffs I do to live my passion, wandering alone, though how weird it may seems, was the most alluring for me.  Well of course, it kindled numerous ideas for my stories.
Though I will always be a homesick by heart, I lives and work in Pune. If I am not working on my novel, you can find me reading,
On a Drive with Life, as a collection of short stories, was a concept that passed my mind some 4 years back. Slowly, but with dedication I have added into the collection. The collection includes love, tragedy, adventure, horror, separation, regret, desire, satisfaction, happiness and all the varied emotions. As the name suggests, the collection aims at taking the readers on a drive with their emotions, such that they share the emotions of the character.
playing cricket, watching TV, or indulging in my unhealthy addiction to hanging out with friends.

2. How you first got involved in with blogging/writing, are you an imaginative person?
Reading always used to send me in a world so fascinating. Surely, it boosted my imagination which started stretching further and under the guidance of my father I started writing. I must add that my school played a great role in promoting such skills. And fortunately I had group of friends who were reading addicts. While there were mistakes, there was learning and slowly it got polished. It has been over six years and still I love to swim into the world of imaginations.

3. What do you find most challenging about blogging/writing about your topic?
The most challenging part for any author is to connect with his readers which can only happen if you are able to stir up their emotions and imaginations. And for that you have to imagine from the readers’ point of perception. Well, it was obviously a challenge, but again, is it not the main punch of writing! It spreads the boundaries of your imaginations even further and then you try to give your best and be as entertaining as you can.

4. Tell me about some of the people you have met while working on your blog?
It has been a long and wandering journey of over half a decade. Writing blogs, articles, stories and then “On A Drive With life!!” was never going to be easy. I was fortunate enough to find help and support from my father Anil Sinha, the Editor of Times Of India Mr. Rajkumar, My teachers like Mr. Parveen Sharma and friends Vidya Nair, Rohan Mundle, SurabhiDangi, Himani and the list goes on.

5. How would (someone) describe your blogging/writing style?
From personal experience, I mean a writer has to feel the emotions to write whatever he is writing. Yet maintaining the right shot through magical realism, horror, humor, adventure and romance and that is how a reader can describe my writing style.

6. What do you do when you are not working on your blog?
Well, wandering alone is the best way to kindle new ideas and themes for your writing especially when you are not exactly writing. But I prefer hanging out with friends, playing cricket and watching documentaries.
7 .Where do you see yourself blogging/writing wise in the next 6 months, and 5 years down the road?
I see reaching out to more and more readers six months from now. I am hoping to get credibility for my writing and planning to write 2 to 3 novels in the next 5 years.
8. What networking do you do that you feel helps your blogging/writing business?
The world of networking is quite huge though I try to reach out to as many of them out there. I mean, to gain attention, you indeed need to make a loud noise and for that I have

9. How do you keep coming up with material/content for your blog? Many people struggle with coming up with different articles/posts and they only have one blog.
A nice question though. You have to keep that company which always acts as the driving force in your life. I have been blessed enough to have a good lot of friends. The more you discuss the more ideas you get and the more your work gets refined. For that you do need to always come up with new ideas.  A topic presented with a new perspective and dimensions itself shows the depth and enthusiasm of the writer.
10. Any specific tips you have for newbie bloggers who want to make it in the blogosphere?
There is no magic wand. You have to be patient and must not rush for success. Then it becomes more of a fanaticism rather than indulgence. Concentrate on content, theme and the readers you are targeting.
11. What would you prioritize? Content?SEO?Traffic?Readers?
Well, they all are like pillars without which none of one’s writing is worth in the present world. The most important of them all is your content without which you cannot connect with the readers. So the readers come second. But again your content cannot just fly away and reach everyone. For that one can have a SEO. I will give it third in the priority list. Surely, without promotion 99.99% of the audience doesn’t know about your work. When all the three goes step by step and in synch one eventually starts to get good traffic.
12. Whats the best thing a blogger can give to his readers?
The best thing any writer can give to its readers is a new perspective of thinking. A quality writing that really makes them think, relate and think again.
13. A lot of people are interested in blogging/writing for the money earning potential. What are some tips for people interesting in making money from blogging/writing? What are some realistic expectations in regards to what can be made?
Everyone has a passion and when passion becomes profession it can drastically change your life. Now it’s up to you whether you want to make this change a positive or a negative one. There is nothing wrong if someone wants to earn through his passion. Look at the sportsmen, authors and the actors. The main problem comes when you rush for it, forgetting why you started writing in the first place. The idea is simple, just give a quality work, enjoy it, promote it and you will start getting the rewards. Remember, labor reaps reward! You must always be practical and try to maintain the balance. You cannot have a short cut for success nor can you believe that the success is forever.
14. What motivates you most in life?
The will to get better and better is the only thing that keeps me motivated, moving one step ahead at a time.
15. What has been your strategy for creating visibility to yourself and your blog?
In the present world, nothing is possible if you are not on social media. Again a bit of publicity is also required. The main strategy includes writing a good content and start promoting it.
16. What was the most challenging moment in your blog content development process and why?
The most challenging part was to keep the stories moving yet keeping it to the point. As On A Drive With Life!! is a collection of short stories. Hence, you have to add all the flavors in the content, maintaining the quality of writing. And doing all of that in a short story was indeed challenging.
17. Everyone has a favorite/least favorite post. Name yours and why?
Dan Brown’s Angels & Demons was the best so far for me. Because content was fast, entertaining, yet indulging, mysterious and adventurous throughout.
18. Name some of the bloggers whom you look up to and why?
I always look to Dan Brown and JK Rowling.
19. What is the story behind the name of the blog?
The book “On A Drive With Life!!”is a collection of short stories. The main purpose for it was to put forth stories that portrayed the readers as the character. So that the readers feel being the part of stories, knowing that they also have been at those circumstances during various points in their lives. So as the name of the book goes. Reading over will give them a breath taking experience where they will have their own flashbacks and rollout on a drive with life.
20. Your connection with any Blogger Network like Indi blogger or Writeupcafe or any other and the experience?
I am active in Writerscafe.org and I must add that the experience was quite learning. You write and they give you the reviews and receiving that from proficient writers indeed makes you better.
21. Which genre do you feel gets the raw deal?
I think humor needs some serious attention. Indeed it is one of the most difficult demand of writing but if written well it can quickly connect with the readers.

22. Which one plug-in would you suggest all bloggers to have?
Your target audience is the only game changer. Identify your audience and provide them with the quality writing they deserve.

23. Five adjectives that describe you.
Ambitious, Confident, Diligent, Motivated and Hard Working

24. What book would you say has made the biggest impact good or bad on you?
Harry Potter series was the first book that had an impact. But yes, I also loved Master of the Games by Sidney Sheldon a lot.

25. Do you get easily provoked by positive/negative comments??
Initially I was. But again is it not the process of learning and getting mature! I must admit that I have got more negative than positive comments throughout my writing career. It always comes down to one thing, how you take it. Do you choose to learn from it or do you want to keep justifying yourself. I am glad that I have learnt to take it as ladder that
will eventually and hopefully take me to new heights.

26. Do you plan to write a book, as every bloggers dream it is?
As you know my recent novel “On A Drive With Life!!” is out in market and is quickly gaining readers. I am in the process of writing another novel which may be out in the market by the end of next year.

27. Are you a judgmental person, do you prefer to take sides instead of standing neutral?
I won’t say that I am judgmental. But when it comes to taking sides between what is right and what is easy, I pray that I take the right decision. But when you are neutral you usually become a mute spectator with no role to play in life. And I mean that is not what the goal of life is. We must always take a stand whenever it is necessary.

28. Your collaboration with other bloggers, are you much into social networking, tell us everything about it?
I have not much collaboration with other bloggers but yes I am very much active on Social networking. I have a facebook page dedicated wholly to On A Drive With Life!!which has quickly received huge number of likes. On twitter I have considerable number of followers. I receive high hits on my blog www.ankitdriveon.blogspot.com. You can also find few trailers of the book available on youtube. You can also find numerous reviews about the book posted online. I have a dedicated website for the same www.ankitdriveon.weebly.com . The world of social networking is never ending and I think I will continue catching up with it.

29. What genre attracts you the most and which genre you avoid?
I like fiction the most, especially fantasy stories. I am seriously not sure that which genre I avoid the most because in my recent book “On A Drive With life!!” I have tried to cover all considering the premises of fiction stories. I would rather say, I have a long way to go and if I am fortunate enough I will love try all of them.

30. Your Views on Contests and increasing plagiarism?
Usually contests are mean to bring out the best on you. But again it doesn’t define your talent as a whole. I may be a very good sportsman but if I am constantly in news for all the bad stuff then I am an overall failure. While contests can be encouraging but they in no sense justify a man’s potential.
When we talk about globalization, in simpler terms we say that the world is becoming a shrinking village. No matter what we want, is available just on the click of a mouse button. I think there should be a proper system in place to have a check on plagiarism.

31. Words for me and my blogs Desire v/s Destiny and Blogger Interviews and my Website www.MyMagicJobs.com
Your interviews play a good role in helping the reader understand the writer and his work.  I must add that the making the voice of new writers heard through is indeed a noble effort. I commend you for that. Desire v/s Destiny, rightly said that it is like two
fighters on either side. An applause for your work.

32. On winning the Award/s , Are they Really necessary.
I will be honest with you. Awards gives you a sense of achievement. But again it is not about boasting. The love of your fans, their praises and their encouragement is all what a writer needs.

33. So whatsNext in your list?
At present I am still busy with “On A Drive With Life!!” by reaching out to as many readers as I can. I am writing a fantasy novel which I am sure will provide all the flavors. In the meantime I will continue writing blogs and continue being in touch with the readers.

34.Words for your readers and why they should follow you?
I would just convey the message of my book. Life goes on. We all have had our own experiences and again no one is perfect. As reading the book you will know, that whatever you are and wherever you are, you are doing well and are at a better place. The decisions you took in your life were the best, taking the circumstances specific to your own life. So, join me, read it while we together roll out on a drive with life!
